As Tiger Woods prepared to tee off in pursuit of his fifth green jacket, his new girlfriend, skier Lindsey Vonn, arrived and headed for the first fairway.
Vonn, who underwent reconstructive knee surgery in February after a horrific skiing accident in Austria, wore a tan sundress and matching hat, with the brace on her right knee peeping out from under the skirt as she limped slowly.
Vonn said she planned to watch only from the first hole. “I can’t really walk too much,” Vonn said (via the New York Times). “And it’s so hilly here.”

Vonn said she planned to stay at the tournament “every day to the end.” Vonn and Woods went public with their relationship last month and Vonn has been rehabbing her knee at an RGIII-like pace in preparation for the 2014 Winter Olympics next February. She was accompanied by her physical therapist and is continuing to rehab in Augusta.
Love is blooming like a hothouse azalea this spring at Augusta. Caroline Wozniacki is taking a break from tennis to cheer on Rory McIlroy and served as his caddie during Wednesday’s par-3 competition.
